47% of India's taxpayers also earn from sources other than jobs

According to a Business Standard report, the era of relying solely on salary in the country is no more as approximately 47% of Indian taxpayers are earning income through other mediums in addition to their regular jobs or businesses. This figure indicates that citizens have now become more active in financial matters and are trying to increase their earnings through investments in various sectors.

The youth class is also not lagging behind in this surprising trend. As stated in the report, youths under twenty-five years of age are also becoming investors on a large scale. About 75% of these taxpayers from the youth class are filing extremely complex tax returns, which highlights their financial understanding and adaptability with changing times.

Finding sources to generate additional income along with jobs and jumping into the investment sector at a young age is the new picture of today's time.
