Madhya Pradesh team all out for 209 in first innings against Vidarbha

According to a TV9 Gujarati report, the fourth-round match of the Ranji Trophy 2026-27 is being played between Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh in Nagpur. In this match, the Madhya Pradesh team won the toss and elected to bat first, but their entire team was bundled out for just 209 runs in the first innings.

During the Madhya Pradesh innings, Atharva Mahajan top-scored with 85 runs off 123 balls, hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes. In addition, Saransh Jain contributed 34 runs off 41 balls, Saksham Purohit 21 runs, Shubham Sharma 16 runs off 35 balls, Avesh Khan an unbeaten 13 runs off 15 balls, Arshad Khan 12 runs off 34 balls, Chanchal Rathore 13 runs, Kumar Kartikeya 7 runs, Yash Dubey 5 runs off 12 balls, and Ravi Kiran 1 run. Madhya Pradesh captain Rajat Patidar was dismissed after scoring just 2 runs.

On the bowling front for Vidarbha, Harsh Dubey delivered a lethal performance. Harsh Dubey, who made his international debut in the series against Afghanistan this year, claimed 9 wickets conceding 53 runs in 23.1 overs. Apart from this, Nachiket Bhute took 1 wicket conceding 46 runs. Nachiket dismissed Yash Dubey for 5 runs and Harsh Dubey sent Chanchal Rathore back to the pavilion for 13 runs. Other Vidarbha bowlers Rajneesh Gurbani, Darshan Nalkande, Aman Mokhade and Parth Rekhade did not meet with any success.

In reply to Madhya Pradesh's 209 runs, Vidarbha scored 52 runs for the loss of 4 wickets by the end of the first day's play.
