Police raid farmhouse in Tapi, eight gamblers caught

According to TV9 Gujarati reports, a major action has come to light amidst the law and order situation in Tapi district. Based on specific intelligence received by the Kakrapar police, the police conducted a surprise raid on an illegal gambling den running at a farmhouse in the district. During this raid, the police arrested a total of 8 gamblers gambling on the spot and initiated legal action.

In this police action, a total of 12.19 lakh rupees worth of property has been seized from the farmhouse. However, specific details of cash, vehicles, or other items in this seized property have not been made available at present. Registering a case against all the 8 accused caught under the Gambling Act, the police have started further legal procedures.
