27-year-old woman dies during treatment after giving birth to four children in Badaun

A tragic incident has occurred in Karolia village under the Musazag police station area of Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district. Ekta Sagar, a 27-year-old woman who gave birth to four children simultaneously, has died during treatment. This incident has plunged the entire family into mourning.

According to reports, Ekta had gone to Sudhir Nursing Home located in the Civil Lines area of the city with her husband Rambabu for an ultrasound. During the examination, it was discovered that Ekta was carrying four children in her womb, but one of them had died before birth. Seeing the woman's critical condition, the doctor advised immediate hospitalisation and delivery via surgery.

The family members followed the doctor's advice and admitted Ekta to the hospital. On Tuesday evening, the operation was performed at Sudhir Nursing Home under the supervision of Dr. Latika Fogat. Through this operation, two girls and one boy were born alive, while one boy was born dead. The doctor had informed the family about the stillborn newborn in advance.

Ekta's aunt, Lakshmi, stated that initially, Ekta's condition was stable after the operation. However, her health gradually began to deteriorate, and she started having difficulty breathing. As her condition became more serious, the family took her to a private hospital in Bareilly for better treatment, but she died during treatment there.

On the other hand, the three newborns who were born alive were initially admitted to the hospital for special care. When their health improved and they became well, they were discharged from the hospital and the family took the children home.

Ekta was married to Rambabu, a resident of Karolia village. This shock is even greater for the family as they had previously endured the grief of losing children. This time, the news of the birth of four children at once had ignited hope of happiness in the family, but the death of the mother and one newborn has turned this joy into deep mourning.

Currently, mourning prevails in the family following Ekta's death. In the absence of the mother, the future and upbringing of the three newborns now stand as a major challenge before the family. There is an atmosphere of grief in the village following this tragic incident.
