Addiction is increasing among Patidar youth: Ganpat Patel

According to a TV9 Gujarati report, a Patidar mega convention was organized in Mehsana. Patidar leader, Ganpat University President, Indian-American scientist, associated with various charitable organizations, founder of Cherokee International, as well as its former president and CEO, and currently the Chairman of Ganpat University located in Mehsana district of North Gujarat, Ganpat Patel (also known as 'Pat Patel') was present at this convention. At this convention, he made a controversial statement regarding Patidar youth.

Expressing concern, Ganpat Patel stated that the addiction to alcohol and drugs is continuously increasing among Patidar youth. Patidar families have become very affluent now, but along with it, bad habits have also crept in. He said in explicit words that Patidar boys have become addicted to intoxicants, while girls are winning gold medals, due to which there is no matching between the two.

Talking about the resolution of this problem, he emphasized that such problems are first seen in our own homes, so the beginning of reform must also be made from home. It is the responsibility of the community leaders to stop the youth from going on the wrong path and provide them with understanding. He added in the convention that there is an urgent need to impart the right understanding to Patidar youth.
