Bhajan Clubbing experiment at NGES campus to alleviate students' mental stress

A unique 'Bhajan Clubbing' programme was organised at the North Gujarat Education Society (NGES) campus in Patan to provide students with a stress-free environment and connect them with Indian culture. Held before the Diwali vacation, the primary objective of this event was to provide positive energy to youth experiencing mental stress due to the pressures of mobile phones, social media, and academics.

Students from Bhagwati International Public School, Arvind Jivabhai Vidyamandir, L.N.K. B.Ed. College, and P.K. Kotawala Arts College, all managed by NGES, participated enthusiastically. The main attraction of the programme was the bhajans presented by the professors and students of the music department of P.K. Kotawala Arts College. The students enjoyed the devotional music through traditional bhajans.

Collector Dr. Prashant Jilova, NGES Vice-Chancellor Dr. K.C. Poriya, and NGES Campus Director Dr. Jay Dhruv were present on the occasion. The dignitaries praised such creative activities for the mental health and holistic development of the students. Dr. Jay Dhruv stated that today's generation needs mental stability, confidence, and spiritual balance along with technology and degrees. This is an effort to steer children towards a positive lifestyle through music and meditation to make them mentally strong alongside being smart.
