The groundbreaking ceremony for a new minor bridge over the Kibota river at Nani Sanjeli in Dahod district was conducted. According to a report by Sandesh, the inauguration of this bridge, to be constructed at a cost of ₹3 crore, was performed by Minister Ramesh Katara, MP Jaswantsinh Bhabhor, and MLA Shailesh Bhabhor. This project will be implemented on the Baroda Mander Handi road under the Limkheda sub-division of the Road and Building Department (Panchayat), Dahod.
Currently, there is a small causeway on this road, due to which waterlogging during the monsoon disrupts vehicular movement and causes difficulties for locals. Following representations by MP Jaswantsinh Bhabhor and local leaders, the government approved this work for the year 2025-26. Once this bridge is completed, direct connectivity will be established for villages including Nani Sanjeli, Sanjeli, Baroda, Mander, Handi Singvad, and Limkheda, and the monsoon-related problems will be resolved.
On this occasion, Taluka Panchayat President Mahendip Palas, Party President Tiku Charel, APMC Chairman Surendrasinh Solanki, Director Mahendra Palas Maji, Sarpanch Kiran Rawat, as well as the head of the district construction branch, members of the Taluka Panchayat, and a large number of villagers were present.
