Two members of Chikligar gang involved in burglaries at locked houses arrested in Bilimora

Two members of the notorious Chikligar gang, involved in burglaries at locked houses in the Bilimora area, have been apprehended by the Navsari Local Crime Branch (LCB). According to a report by Sandesh, the police team, under the guidance of P.I. Jadeja, received information while on patrol on the night of 16 October 2026.

Based on this information, members of this gang, who commit thefts by breaking locks and crowbars in Gujarat and Maharashtra, were roaming in a car on the road from Devsar to Dhakwada in Bilimora. The police set up a watch on the Devsar-Dhakwada road and intercepted a suspicious white Ford Figo car (GJ-05-CS-5349), from which Bobising alias Bachansing and Jarnelsing alias Jallusing Rupsing Ratanasing Tank were arrested.

Bobising is a resident of Dindoli, Surat, and is originally from Vadodara, while Jarnelsing is a resident of the Althan Garden area of Surat. The police recovered a gold bar weighing 30.570 grams (valued at ₹3,10,285), ₹700 in cash, one mobile phone (valued at ₹5,000), and a white Ford Figo car worth ₹3,00,000. Total seized property is worth ₹6,15,985. Navsari LCB is conducting further investigation into the matter.
