Country's first AC Vistadome bus service launched at Statue of Unity

According to a report by Sandesh, a historic step has been taken by the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) to further improve the tourism experience of passengers. The country's first AC Vistadome bus service has been launched at the Statue of Unity (Ekta Nagar). This super luxurious AC Vistadome coach bus service was officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 31 October on the occasion of National Unity Day.

Minister of State for Home and Transport Harsh Sanghavi also shared a special video on social media showcasing the state-of-the-art facilities of this high-tech bus. The main feature of this bus is its dome-shaped transparent glass roof, through which passengers will be able to enjoy a 360-degree view of the open sky and surrounding mountain ranges.

Only 23 premium seats have been provided in this special bus. All these 23 seats are fully adjustable recliner type and can rotate 360 degrees on their axis. An LED smart TV has been installed in the bus for the entertainment of passengers. Also, for the safety of passengers, high-definition CCTV cameras and personal mobile charging point facilities have been made available at each seat.

According to details received from Gandhinagar, this premium bus service will also be operated on other heritage routes in a phased manner in the coming time.
