Important guidelines regarding registration issued by NTA for JEE Main 2027

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released important instructions and guidelines regarding the registration process for JEE Main 2027 Session 1. The agency has clarified that students who wish to apply for this exam should complete their Aadhaar re-KYC process through DigiLocker before filling out the online application form. Taking this step can help in verifying identity during the application and avoiding potential errors or issues related to biometric data.

According to a report by Business Standard, the registration process for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 was started on 24 October, 2026. Candidates can fill out their applications from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. In the advisory issued by the NTA, candidates have been instructed that they should use their own login credentials while using DigiLocker, Jan Parichay or e-Pramaan (MeriPehchaan) platforms.

The NTA has also placed special emphasis on maintaining accuracy of personal details while filling out the application form. According to a report by Amar Ujala, the name and date of birth recorded in the form must match exactly with the details given in the student's standard 10 certificate or marksheet. The agency has advised candidates to thoroughly check all their details before starting the application process and to regularly visit the official website for instructions issued in the future.

It has also been noted that there might be a slight difference in the position of options or screen appearance in various versions of the DigiLocker app. Candidates can complete the Aadhaar re-KYC process with the help of the DigiLocker app. This process is extremely essential to bring transparency in the application and maintain data accuracy.

According to the information about the JEE Main 2027 examination process, this exam will be organized in two sessions. The Session 1 exam is likely to be held in January 2027.
