ICSE and ISC Board Exam 2027 Timetable to be Released Soon

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is likely to release the timetable for the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 annual board examinations for the year 2027 soon. Students planning to appear for the 2027 annual board exams will be able to view the detailed examination schedule on the official website cisce.org. According to an NDTV report, no official confirmation has been made by the board regarding this so far.

Last year, the Council published the timetable for Class 10 and 12 on 13 November. Therefore, students can keep an eye on the official announcement in the coming days. It is crucial for candidates preparing for the exams to be informed about the examination pattern. Understanding the exam structure, marking scheme, and the types of questions asked in the exams can help candidates in their preparation.

Referring to the previous academic cycle, the ICSE Class 10 exams were conducted in pen-paper mode between 17 February and 30 March, 2026. At the same time, the ISC Class 12 exams were held between 12 February and 6 April, 2026. These figures may help students estimate the upcoming examination period.

Looking at the statistics of last year's ISC (Class 12) exam, a total of 1,553 schools participated. A total of 1,03,316 candidates appeared for this exam, which included 54,118 boys (52.38 per cent) and 49,198 girls (47.62 per cent). In the examination results, the Uttar Pradesh region recorded the highest participation in both ICSE and ISC exams.

In terms of performance, the South region topped the ISC (Class 12) exam with a pass percentage of 99.87 per cent, while the West region stood second with 99.55 per cent. The 2026 ISC exam topper, Anushka Ghosh, told ANI that she had secured 498 out of 500 marks in Class 10, having lost only two marks in English.

Along with the board exams, other competitive examinations are also significant. The JEE Main 2027 exam has been scheduled for 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January, 2027. Candidates for this exam are now focusing on smart strategies to maximise their scores.
