Administrative machinery and Sadhus conduct route inspection for Girnar Lili Parikrama

Preparations for the holy Lili Parikrama of Girnar are being expedited by the administration. To ensure facilities for the lakhs of devotees participating in the Parikrama, the Sadhus-Saints of Junagadh, officials, and district administration officers jointly inspected the Parikrama route today.

During this inspection, detailed discussions were held regarding drinking water arrangements, health services, food zones, lighting, and service-oriented organisations. Special emphasis was placed on increasing water supply through borewells to prevent water shortages due to low rainfall. The Sadhus expressed satisfaction with the administration's preparations. Additionally, as the route is difficult, the Sadhus requested that the infirm, children, and elderly avoid the Parikrama. Devotees were also instructed not to use prohibited plastic items.

MP Rajesh Chudasma, Mayor Dharmesh Poshiya, MLA Sanjay Kordia, Collector Yogesh Chaudhary, Commissioner I.R. Wala, Police Chief Subodh Odedra, Deputy Conservator of Forests Akshay Joshi, and Additional Collector B.S. Barad, among other officials, were part of this process. Sadhus of Girnar Teerthkshetra, including Indrabharti Bapu, Maheshgirigiri Bapu, Mahendranandgiri Bapu, Mahadevgiribapu, and Kishandas Bapu, were also present.
