Mysterious death of 25-year-old female BHMS doctor in Surat

A 25-year-old female BHMS doctor residing in the Katargam area of Surat has passed away mysteriously during treatment. According to a report by Sandesh, she was shifted to Venus Hospital in Surat in critical condition following a deterioration in health or an attempted suicide, where she died after brief treatment.

Preliminary investigations suggest that family disputes and mental harassment may be responsible for this tragedy. The deceased doctor had been married for only about 6 months. However, discord and disputes between the husband and wife had persisted since the beginning of their married life. The situation had deteriorated to such an extent that the husband demanded a divorce shortly after the marriage, leading to discussions that the female doctor was under mental stress.

Officers of the Katargam Police Station have initiated prompt action in this matter. Police have recovered a suicide note from the scene, which is believed to mention marital problems and harassment. The police have seized this note and started an in-depth investigation based on it.
