Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated on Saturday that the CII Partnership Summit-2026 will showcase the state's investment potential to the world and promote global business and technological collaboration. According to a Businessline report, the 31st edition of this summit will be held in Visakhapatnam on November 12 and 13.
The summit will be organised under the theme 'Navigating New World Order: Trade, Technology, Trust'. A total of 59 countries' representatives, including 15 foreign ministers, are expected to participate in the event. In a press release, Chief Minister Naidu stated, "CII Partnership Summit-2026 will provide an opportunity to present Andhra Pradesh's investment potential to the world and foster business and technological partnerships with global stakeholders."
Government representatives from various countries, industry leaders, heads of international organisations, and technology experts will gather for this two-day event. According to the release, the summit will include 350 foreign and 900 Indian delegates, as well as over 40 international speakers, bringing the total number of participants to approximately 1,250.
To encourage partnerships between companies, around 400 Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings will be organised. Additionally, Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings will be held to facilitate dialogue between industries and government representatives.
Government representatives from several countries, including Singapore, Nepal, Cambodia, Myanmar, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Slovak Republic, Mauritius, Mozambique, Egypt, Algeria, Tanzania, and Guatemala, will be present at the summit. Along with this, ambassadors from various countries and representatives from the World Food Programme, Asian Development Bank, and United Nations Environment Programme will also participate.
The summit will focus on six main themes: Trade, Investment and Global Value Chains; Trust, Geo-economics and Global Cooperation; and Agriculture, Food Security and Bio-based Economy. The other three themes include Talent, Skills and International Employment Opportunities; Technology, Innovation and Future Industries; and Clean Energy and Sustainable Development.
Naidu stated that discussions should focus on establishing business and technological partnerships by bringing together policymakers, investors, industries, academic institutions, and startups. He added that the primary objective should be to connect Andhra Pradesh's industries with global markets and create new business opportunities for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The Chief Minister further said that this summit will enhance Andhra Pradesh's reputation in technological cooperation and create international employment opportunities for the state's skilled youth. He emphasised that the distribution of the state's industrial incentives through escrow accounts and its 'Speed of Doing Business' initiative should also be showcased on a global level.
