According to a report by The Hindu, the seven arrested persons are natives of Rajasthan. Among them is 40-year-old Ayub, a resident of Uliyanur in Aluva, identified as the mastermind behind this activity. Along with him, 22-year-old Jagaram, 28-year-old Narpat Lal, 20-year-old Bawar Ram, 19-year-old Anil Kumar, 19-year-old Bhavesh Kumar, and 20-year-old Swarup Ram were arrested.
The investigation team was led by K.S. Sudarshan. The team included officials such as DySP C. Binukumar of the Narcotics Cell, Aluva DySP Baiju Poluz, Circle Inspector P.M. Shamir, and Edathala Station House Officer S.S. Sreelal.
