10-year-old boy crushed to death under tractor-trolley in Sambhal

An extremely tragic and heart-wrenching incident has come to light in the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, where a 10-year-old innocent boy died after being crushed under a tractor-trolley. The accident occurred when the boy was returning home after buying groceries from a shop on his bicycle. A live CCTV footage of this incident has also surfaced, in which the entire details of the accident can be clearly seen. The deceased boy has been identified as 10-year-old Adhiraj Kumar, who was the son of Police Constable Sanjay Kumar, posted in Badaun.

According to an Aaj Tak report, on the day of the incident, Adhiraj Kumar had gone to a grocery store near his house to buy items. While returning, as he was turning his bicycle to cross to the other side of the highway, a speeding tractor-trolley coming from the opposite direction hit him hard. The accident was so horrific that three wheels of the tractor-trolley passed over the boy's body. Due to these serious injuries, the boy was critically injured on the spot and kept writhing in pain on the road for about 10 minutes.

Upon learning of the incident, nearby people and family members immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the boy to the nearby Chandausi Community Health Center for treatment. However, it was too late by the time they reached the hospital. The doctors on duty examined the boy and declared him dead. A wave of mourning has spread through the family after this incident, and there is a lot of anger among the relatives.

Baniather Police Station In-charge Bobendra Sharma, while providing information on the matter, stated that a police team was immediately sent to the spot upon receiving information about the accident, and an investigation into the entire matter has begun. Currently, the police are investigating how this accident happened and whose negligence was involved. According to the police officer, no written complaint has been received from the family of the deceased so far. However, as soon as a complaint is received, further legal action will be taken accordingly.

This accident has created a stir in the entire area. The issue of the safety of young children amidst the movement of vehicles on the highway has also come into discussion after this incident. There is also anger among the local people due to the horror seen in the CCTV footage. Amidst the wailing of the family members, the entire village has been plunged into grief.
