Vodafone Idea introduces three new affordable plans starting from ₹142

According to a report by TV9 Gujarati, Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched three new affordable prepaid calling plans in the market to provide relief to its customers. These new plans will be available at prices of ₹142, ₹156, and ₹158. The company has taken this step following the introduction of cheap voice-only plans by Jio.

Among these new plans, the ₹156 plan will offer unlimited calling without any data and 300 SMS with a validity of 30 days. Additionally, the company has also released a ₹158 plan, which is just ₹2 more than the ₹156 plan. This plan will also provide unlimited calls without internet data and 300 SMS. This will be a monthly plan, where if a customer recharges on the 6th of the month, they will have to perform the subsequent recharge on the 6th of the following month as well.

Previously, Vi had introduced four calling plans of ₹179, ₹185, ₹203, and ₹206, which matched Airtel's cheap calling plans. Now, through these new plans, Vi has provided a competitive alternative against the cheap calling plans of both Jio and Airtel in the market. In this way, the company has brought an alternative to the cheap calling plans introduced by both its competitors into the market.
