Rahul Gandhi is spreading chaos instead of discussing issues: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched scathing attacks on Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi during a padyatra in Karnal, Haryana. According to a report by Dainik Bhaskar, Shah alleged that instead of discussing the country's issues, Rahul Gandhi is spreading chaos. He stated that Rahul Gandhi does not allow Parliament to function and making noise in Parliament has become a tradition for the Congress.

Targeting Rahul Gandhi, Amit Shah used a proverb, saying that when a cat finds no way, it claws at a pole. He further added that Rahul Gandhi wants to spread chaos like an anarchist by gathering crowds on the streets. Shah also raised the question that Rahul Gandhi should account for his Vietnam trip—why he went, whom he met, and what he did there.

Speaking on the questions raised by Congress regarding EVMs and voter lists, the Home Minister said that in places where Congress wins, the voter lists are fine, but where they lose, they raise questions about EVMs and voter lists. He used a saying similar to 'a bad workman quarrels with his tools' in this regard. Shah further stated that after the year 2024, Congress is facing continuous defeats under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, while the people of the country have elected Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the third consecutive time.

The Home Minister also stated that he is ready to call a special session on SIR.

Amit Shah is the Union Home Minister of the Government of India and serves as the head of the country's internal security and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
