Youth dies as speeding car hits bike in Sabarkantha

A heartbreaking road accident has come to light in Sabarkantha district. According to a report by Sandesh, a speeding uncontrolled car collided violently with a motorcycle on the road leading from Himatnagar to Ilol. The impact of the accident was so severe that a youth riding the bike was flung away and died a painful death on the spot. Another youth riding the bike was seriously injured in this mishap.

Upon learning of the incident, local residents and passersby immediately rushed to help. People promptly informed the 108 ambulance service. The 108 team reached the spot, provided primary treatment to the seriously injured youth, and subsequently shifted him to a nearby hospital for further treatment, where he is currently undergoing care.

A team from the local police station also reached the site immediately upon being informed of the incident. The police restored the traffic flow and sent the body of the deceased youth to the government civil hospital for post-mortem. The police have registered a case against the car driver, who fled after causing the accident, and have initiated a rigorous legal investigation. A wave of mourning has spread across the entire region following this tragic incident.
