Tribal Leader Nisha Bhagat Commits Suicide in Jharkhand, Levels Serious Allegations Against Soren Government

A tragic incident has come to light in Jharkhand, where tribal leader Nisha Bhagat has committed suicide. Prior to her death, she went live on Facebook and made serious allegations against the Hemant Soren government, the local administration, and certain individuals involved in land dealings.

According to a report by 'Aaj Tak', Nisha Bhagat stated in her final Facebook live session that she had been continuously struggling for the rights of her community, but had not received proper support from anywhere. Targeting the Hemant Soren government, she remarked that if exposing the flaws of the government is a crime, she is now paying the price for it. She alleged that she was being constantly harassed mentally and felt helpless in the face of incidents where women were being insulted.

In her live video, Nisha Bhagat also made grave allegations against some people associated with land. Expressing dissatisfaction with the functioning of the administration, she stated that she had attempted to communicate with the authorities several times regarding her security and problems, but received no assistance. She specifically named Ajay Tirki while questioning the role of the administration. Additionally, she mentioned having spoken over the phone with the police station in-charge of Pithoria, during which she expressed her anger regarding police action.

Nisha Bhagat alleged that the police had taken no concrete action in a theft case at her home and had failed to apprehend the thieves. She further stated that no steps were taken against those who were attempting to defame her. Due to all these factors, she was under extreme mental stress, which she mentioned during the live broadcast.

Becoming emotional while speaking about her family, Nisha Bhagat stated that her parents had raised her with great love and affection, but because of her struggle, they were now forced to endure criticism in society. This caused her deep sorrow. She said that while people viewed her as a strong woman, she had become isolated in this struggle. She clarified that she did not receive the support she expected from political parties and was fighting for the issues of her community single-handedly.

Nisha Bhagat also mentioned in her live session that she could not endure such circumstances for any longer. She held the system and land mafias responsible for her death.

Nisha Bhagat was a well-known tribal leader in Jharkhand who had long been raising her voice for the interests of her community and land rights. She was active on various social and political issues and was known for articulating the problems of her community. However, this incident has brought a tragic end to her long life of struggle.
