Chinese company BYD's luxury brand 'Denza' to enter the Indian market on November 13

A new chapter is about to begin in the Indian automobile sector. Chinese giant BYD is preparing to launch its luxury car brand 'Denza' in India. According to an Aaj Tak report, this brand will officially enter the Indian market on November 13. The company may introduce two key products during this launch, with strong possibilities of including the Denza D9 MPV and the Denza Z9 GT. Both these vehicles have previously been patented in India.

Recently, the Denza Z9 GT was spotted on Indian roads in its signature green color option, which has generated significant curiosity in the automobile world. This car will be known as a high-performance flagship estate or shooting brake vehicle in the Indian market. Although no official announcement regarding prices has been made by the company yet, market experts believe that the price of this car could be around ₹1 crore. For comparison, the starting price of this car in China is 3,29,800 Yuan, which is approximately ₹46.74 lakh. Denza cars in India will be more premium and expensive than BYD's existing range.

Regarding the technical capabilities of the Denza Z9 GT, the Chinese model is equipped with a 122.5 kWh battery and a triple motor setup. This powerful setup generates a peak power of 1156 HP and 1210 Nm of torque. The car's capability is so impressive that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.7 seconds. Its top speed is 270 kilometers per hour, and it claims to offer a range of up to 1036 kilometers on a single charge. In India, this car will be launched in a fully electric avatar.

In terms of dimensions, the Denza Z9 GT has a length of 5195 mm, a width of 1990 mm, and a height of 1500 mm, while its wheelbase is 3125 mm. The interior of the car has been made extremely modern. It features a massive 17.3-inch infotainment system, a 13.2-inch instrument cluster, and a separate 13.2-inch passenger screen. Additionally, the car includes features such as electrically operated doors, heated, ventilated, and massage-featured seats, as well as a large panoramic sunroof.
