According to Sandesh's report, a case of celebrating a birthday in the Naroda area of Ahmedabad by flouting public traffic and cleanliness rules has come to light. The celebration was organized late at night by Ramesh Bharwad alias Bambha, general secretary of the city's BJP Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Sardarnagar ward, and his supporters on the occasion of Kishor Thakor's birthday.
This incident took place late at night on November 5 on the main public road directly opposite the sensitive 108 Emergency Call Centre located in the Naroda area. Ramesh Bharwad and his associates arrived there with a convoy of luxury cars to celebrate Kishor Thakor's birthday. Around 7 cars were brought to a halt right in the middle of the main road, which completely blocked the road.
Cakes were placed on the bonnets and roofs of these cars and cut. Fireworks were also burst publicly during this, which caused a loud noise and spread garbage on the road, creating filth. Due to this kind of irresponsible celebration, a risk was posed to the movement of ordinary pedestrians as well as emergency vehicles, and public peace was also endangered.
As soon as a police PCR van reached the spot, this entire crowd fled into the darkness with their cars. Regarding this incident, the Naroda Police has registered a case against a total of 7 car drivers, including BJP leader Ramesh Bharwad, Kishor Thakor, and 6 other car owners. An FIR has been filed against all of them for obstructing the public road, spreading filth, breaching public peace, and creating a nuisance that endangers people's lives.
Police have seized surrounding CCTV footage to trace the numbers of all vehicles involved in this illegal celebration. Further action has also been initiated to tighten the legal noose around the drivers of these vehicles. During the investigation, Ramesh Bharwad's Fortuner car bearing number GJ 18 EC 85 was proven to have been involved in this illegal party and he himself was proven to be present at the spot.
